What is the Active Kids Voucher?
Parents, guardians and carers can apply for two vouchers valued up to $50 per term for each child enrolled in sport. The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and membership costs for sport, fitness and active recreation activities.
Who is eligible for the Active Kids Voucher?
If you’re a parent, carer or guardian, the player will be eligible if they are:
A NSW resident
Aged between 4.5 and 18 years
Enrolled in school (from Kindergarten to Year 12, including those who are home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW)
A current Medicare card holder
When will I receive my $50 Active Kids credit?
Your $50 credit will be added to your parent portal within 3days of providing your voucher details. You will be notified prior to the credit being placed onto your account via email. Your credit will then be visible on your account to use towards the current program.
*Please note - There are no refunds provided if you decide to go ahead and pay for the program in full before receiving the $50 voucher on your parent portal. The Active Kids Voucher will sit on your parent portal as credit for future programs with LERLA.
Vouchers can only be applied to either LERLA’s Summer or Winter programs. You are not able to use a voucher for the school holiday clinics as per the rules of service NSW.
You must apply the credit and “tick” the box to reduce the overall class fees before making your payment. When you have placed your preferred class into your cart, the option will appear to “apply credit” when at the checkout.
How long do I have to wait prior to claiming my second voucher?
Service NSW will only validate one voucher per eight-week program
